Dear Santa,
Howdy Santa! My name is Mila and I am 8 years old. I live in Austin, Texas, a fun, music-filled city in the rolling Hill Country. I love guitar and watching the bats fly out at dusk. My question is: how much are tickets to Santa Claus Village? My geography question is: what is the Texas Hill Country? And my social studies question is: why was Texas once its own country? Ho ho ho, howdy Mila! A guitar player who watches the bats has plenty of Austin spirit. About tickets, here is the happy news: entering Santa Claus Village up in Lapland is generally free, so you do not need a ticket just to wander around, meet a Santa, and cross the Arctic Circle line. But the special attractions and rides inside, like reindeer or husky sleds, do need their own tickets, and those prices change from year to year. So there is no single ticket price for the whole village, it depends on which adventures you pick. A grown-up can check the latest.
Your geography question: the Texas Hill Country
The Texas Hill Country is a beautiful region of rolling hills, clear rivers, and wildflowers in the central part of your own Texas, including around your Austin.
