Dear Santa, my name is Oceane, and I am nine years old. I live in Cayenne, French Guiana, where my papa says a real rocket launch site sits right near our town, sending spaceships up into the sky.

Santa, I have three questions.
Who is in the Santa cast? My cousin asked but there are so many different Santa movies I was not sure which one she meant.

It is true, Oceane, French Guiana is largely covered by dense Amazon rainforest, one of the most lush landscapes on my entire route. I always enjoy that deep green view flying in.
My papa says our home is actually an official part of France, even though we are so far away in South America. Is that true?
It is true, Oceane, French Guiana is an overseas department of France, meaning it is officially part of the country despite the distance. That connection across such a long stretch of ocean is really a remarkable thing.
