Is There a Santa Shower Curtain?

Journey, age 8 from Glasgow, Scotland, asks Santa about bathroom decor, the River Clyde, and the city’s shipbuilding history.

Dear Santa, my name is Journey, and I am eight years old. I live in Glasgow, Scotland, where my granny says our city has more parks and green spaces than almost any other in the country.

Dear Journey, a city with that many parks deserves a very leafy, appreciative flyover, your granny picked a truly green hometown.

Santa, I have three questions.

Is there a Santa shower curtain? My auntie wants a festive one for the bathroom this year.

There certainly are Santa themed shower curtains out there, Journey, a cheerful way to brighten up the bathroom. Your auntie sounds like she has a wonderfully thorough sense of holiday style.

My granny says Glasgow sits along the River Clyde. Is that true?

It is true, Journey, the River Clyde flows right through your city, an important part of its shipbuilding history. I always follow that glimmering path to help find my way to your rooftop.

My granny says Glasgow used to be one of the biggest shipbuilding cities in the whole world. Is that true?

It is true, Journey, Glasgow’s shipyards built vessels sent all across the globe during its industrial heyday. That kind of skilled, hardworking history is really something worth admiring.

Merry Christmas, Santa.

Your friend,
Journey Ferguson
Glasgow, Scotland

P.S. Will you hang a matching one at the workshop this year?

Only briefly, Journey, my own bathroom has served me well without any extra flair.
