Dear Santa, my name is Sofie and I am nine years old. I live in Roskilde, Denmark, where my mormor says nearly every Danish king and queen for hundreds of years has been buried inside our very own cathedral.

Santa, I have three questions.
My first question is, is there an easy way to draw Santa? My art teacher wants us to try, but I always overthink the details too much.
Start simple, Sofie. A round face, a triangle for the hat, a fluffy circle for the beard, and rosy circles for cheeks. The easiest drawings often turn out the most charming, so do not worry too much about getting every detail exact.
My second question is about our fjord. My teacher says the Roskilde Fjord shapes much of our region’s landscape. Is that true?
It is, Sofie. The Roskilde Fjord stretches along your town’s coastline, its calm water shaping the region’s history and daily life. Flying over its frozen surface each Christmas Eve is a genuinely peaceful part of my Danish route.
